2025 Resilient Flooring Trend

Oct. 17, 2025

In 2025, the global resilient flooring market continues its stable and positive growth trajectory. Driven by rapid urbanization, green building initiatives, and rising interior quality standards, resilient flooring remains one of the fastest-growing segments in the flooring industry — celebrated for its eco-friendliness, durability, aesthetics, and easy maintenance.
Now, the market structure is evolving: residential demand is stabilizing, while commercial applications are expanding rapidly, especially in education, healthcare, senior living, and office projects — signaling strong new opportunities.

Residential Demand: growth slows, quality upgrades

According to FCNews' research, 2025 will likely mirror the slight downturn of 2024. To compare, the resilient flooring category as a whole generated $8.381 billion in 2024, which was down about 2.3% from $8.576 billion in 2023. In terms of vol-ume, the resilient flooring category (not including rubber) accounted for 5.846 bil-lion square feet at the first point of sale-down just 0.5% from 5.876 billion square feet in 2023.

Under this trend, SPC and LVT flooring are gaining traction through surface innovation — such as E.I.R textures, matte finishes, and soft-touch films — offering differentiated value. Beauty, easy maintenance, and environmental safety define the new standard for residential spaces. As an industry leader, DECNO has keenly sensed market trends and launched more fashionable and personalized products such as grout-tech SPC flooring, minisize herringbone SPC, and exclusive customized E.I.R Surface SPC to meet the diversified pursuits of the civil field.

Commercial projects: structural upgrades, diversified demands

The commercial sector remains the key driver of resilient flooring growth in 2025. Demand from education, healthcare, senior care, and office spaces continues to rise.
Schools prioritize slip-resistance and durability; healthcare facilities demand antibacterial and emission-free materials; while senior care centers and hotels focus on soft touch, acoustic comfort, and aesthetics.
Manufacturers are thus evolving from product suppliers to solution providers, delivering flooring systems that merge functionality with design to create complete spatial experiences. DECNO's Hebei production base, which is slated to open in 2025, has introduced the latest production lines and a full range of environmentally friendly equipment. It rigorously selects environmentally friendly raw materials to ensure that every SPC floor meets environmental standards, from production to finished product. Currently, the combined monthly production capacity of all DECNO production bases is 500 containers, with the Hebei base producing 180 containers. In addition to mainland China, DECNO's Vietnam production base also boasts a mature production system, enabling it to quickly meet the needs of customers of all sizes and meet the requirements of commercial projects with short lead times and concentrated shipments.
